Orthodontics

Orthodontics includes both traditional brackets (metal braces)and clear aligners (Invisalign and Clear Correct). Orthodontic treatment helps with the straightening of the teeth as well as alignment of the bite. Dr. Platt has more than 200 additional hours in the study of orthodontics.

Clear Correct is custom made aligners made from a multi-layer medical-grade plastic that was designed over years of research and trials. The result is a stunningly transparent and resilient aligner that moves teeth effectively.

Invisalign is Custom-made to straighten your teeth, Invisalign® clear aligners are nearly invisible and made of a proprietary, multi-layer SmartTrack material, which gently shifts your teeth into place over time.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Our team uses the most advanced cosmetic dentistry techniques to improve the aesthetic quality of your teeth and create a beautiful smile you'll love and can proudly show off. Whether you need dental implants or teeth whitening, our goal is to make sure every patient leaves our office with a smile that looks as good as it feels.

Cosmetic dentistry includes “white” composite fillings, crowns and veneers. Crowns typically cover the entire tooth and are appropriate for broken, decayed or endodontically (root canal) treated teeth. Veneers are beautiful on the front teeth to close space, reshape, lengthen and beautify teeth that are chipped, broken, widely spaced or permanently stained.

Partial Dentures and Complete dentures can be beneficial to restore the patients ability to eat properly and to fill out the face where the missing teeth have allowed the cheeks to collapse in. Denture in conjunction with implants increase the biting force a patient has while chewing and helps to keep the dentures in place so the do not move around.

Dr. Platt uses the latest in technology including digital scanning/impressions and soft tissue lasers.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are small posts that replace the roots of your natural teeth. These small posts are made of titanium — a biocompatible metal that naturally integrates with the bone beneath your gums.

When teeth are lost or extracted, Dr. Platt works with the oral surgeon that will place the implants into bone beneath the gums during an outpatient procedure. In some cases Dr. Platt places implants in our Platinum Dental office.

Replacing the root of your tooth stimulates the jaw bone, preserving your facial structure and preventing the bone loss that often occurs with missing teeth. Once the implant is placed and fully integrated into the bone a crown is placed on the implant that looks like a natural tooth in the mouth.
